Where are your pieces made?
We are proud to say that every Aril Jewels piece is crafted here in London. From start to finish, our master craftsmen and women ensure every detail is perfect, creating jewellery that is both beautifully designed and expertly made by the best in the business to last for generations.
Are your diamonds and gemstones ethically sourced?
Absolutely! We are committed to sourcing only conflict-free diamonds and ethically sourced gemstones. You can learn more about our ethos and approach to sustainability on Our Commitments page.
Can I customise my piece?
Yes, of course! There's nothing we love more than jewellery that's truly personal. We can offer personalisation or customisation in a variety of different ways:
- Complimentary engraving for names or dates on our wedding rings. Can also be arranged for other pieces, please contact us for details or assistance.
- If you're looking for something a bit more unique, we can create bespoke versions of our pieces with a variety of gemstone combinations including birthstones, favourite colour combinations or, for arcostic pieces, any word or name.
- Alternatively, if you have a completely original design in mind, we’d love to help bring it to life from scratch! For more details, feel free to visit our Bespoke Journey page or get in touch with us directly.
What is hallmarking and do all your pieces have it?
All of our pieces are hallmarked at the prestigious London Assay Office, which guarantees the purity of the precious metals (18ct gold or platinum) used. Additionally, since we have been a member of the Created in the UK scheme, our pieces also proudly feature the Created in the UK mark - proof of the incredible British craftsmanship behind each piece. Many of our creations, where applicable, also carry special celebration marks for significant events like the Jubilee and Coronation.
How should I care for my jewellery?
To keep your jewellery sparkling and in great condition, store it in a cool, dry place (your Aril Jewels box is perfect for this). We recommend an annual professional clean to ensure your settings remain secure and your piece stays beautiful. This service is complimentary for all of our clients.
Can I visit you to view pieces in person?
While we primarily operate online, we offer private viewings by appointment. Please get in touch with us to schedule your personal viewing experience.
What if I want a ring to be a surprise but I don’t know the finger size?
Not a problem! If you’re unsure of the size, we suggest an average size of M or N. If the fit isn’t perfect, we’re happy to tailor it for you within three months of purchase, completely complimentary.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
We don’t currently offer direct financing, but we’re happy to explore flexible options with you. We can arrange layaway on certain pieces, where you pay in instalments and receive your jewellery once the full amount is paid. Alternatively, if you're interested in spreading payments over time, we’re happy to recommend trusted third-party providers — just get in touch and we’ll guide you through the options.
Do you offer ring resizing or chain adjustments?
Yes - we offer complimentary resizing of your Aril Jewels ring within three months of purchase. We can also adjust chains or add additional loops for versatility. Most adjustments take around 5–7 working days. If you have a specific deadline in mind, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
How long will it take to receive my jewellery?
- In-stock pieces are typically shipped within 3 working days.
- Made-to-order or bespoke items take longer, and we’ll give you a clear timeline when you place your order.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes, every piece will arrive in discreet packaging. Your jewellery will arrive in its beautiful handmade leather presentation box, wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside a gift bag. We also include a hand-painted rendering of the piece in an Aril Jewels presentation folder - perfect for gifting or keeping as a memento. If you’d like to include a personalised message, just let us know and we’ll arrange that for you too.
What happens if my jewellery needs a repair?
Wear and tear on jewellery you wear everyday is normal, after all you wouldn't wear a pair of shoes everyday for years and not expect them to need some TLC from time to time! If your piece ever needs a repair, please get in touch. We’ll walk you through the process and take care of everything, from repairs due to wear and tear to anything else you might need.
Should I insure my jewellery?
We always recommend insuring your jewellery for peace of mind. While we don’t offer insurance directly, companies like TH March specialise in jewellery insurance and are trusted by many of our clients. We’re happy to provide any documentation they might require.
