Jim & Alison commissioned us to make this incredibly special bespoke pendant for their new granddaughter, who had not yet been born when they contacted us! They particularly wanted a floral pendant featuring natural coloured diamonds to match what they had previously commissioned for the baby girl's older sister. 

We started by looking to birth flowers for our inspiration. The couple chose a delphinium design, as one of July's birth flowers and a flower that would be in bloom around their new granddaughter’s birthday. They loved the softer blue colour of delphiniums, so we sourced three exceedingly rare, matching natural blue diamonds for the centre of each flower. It is estimated that less than 0.02% of mined diamonds are blue, and so to find three matching in colour, intensity and size was a difficult feat! We paired these exceptionally rare blue diamonds with perfectly matched unheated cornflower blue sapphires for the petals.

Handmade in platinum by our master crastsmen, the pendant was an absolutely stunning token of love for their new granddaughter and the very definition of a future heirloom.
