James knew Lou wanted an emerald engagement ring with smaller diamonds. We started off by doing some sketches of oval emeralds with various different types of diamonds at the sides. James chose a more classic, nature-inspired design as he felt that Lou would love this the most being a bit more traditional at heart. A stunning Zambian emerald was selected for the centre, which was complemented perfectly by being set in 18ct yellow gold with the diamonds set in platinum. Finally, the ring has been given a more modern touch by being delicately claw set so the gems are truly the stars of the show.
